Sweet and Magical

This was a beautiful modern day fairy tale, and I absolutely loved it! There's a curse in Penelope's family that was cast many many years ago, and her mother has been finding a way to break it. Men have run away from her time and again, until one. Of course, he turns out to not be the one they think he is, and Penelope decides to venture out in the world against her mother's better wishes. It's sweet, funny, romantic, and very uplifting.

Mistress of Spices

This was a wonderful movie! If you liked Chocolat, then you will love this. It's about an Indian woman who can sense what people need and can even see a little bit of the past and future of the people she comes in contact with. She has been charged with a mission to serve others through her spices, but must never try to fulfill her own desires. Inevitably, she falls in love, and consequences ensue.

Once upon a time there was a woman named Hartlene. She was a woman of Grace style, and elegance. She was and artist, and she was magical. She loved reading, music movies, and books. She had a gorgeous house that she kept beautifully.

She has left behind many who loved her.
